Time has a funny way of taking the pain out of agonizing events. So before you get too swept up in the sentimentality of the day, be sure you’re remembering everything correctly — with your mind, not just your heart. Dreams, nostalgia and thoughts of how great things used to be are on your mind and having a powerful effect on you.
