Busy Busy Busy…

I had an audition on Friday for this Shakespearean-style farce…I absolutely LOVE the role I’m up for, and the writing is great…The thing is, you never can tell how an audition goes…At least I can’t…Sometimes I think I totally nailed it and don’t get a call back…Other times I think I sucked big time but get the role or at least a call back…The casting director didn’t give me any adjustments to make after I read or ask me to do it again, so either I was exactly what he was looking for, or so far from it he didn’t feel like wasting any more time…I really have no idea how I did…*sigh*…Guess I’ll find out if I don’t hear anything within a day or two…
Also got a call on Friday from my pal, B, who got a part on a soap opera and is in town through July. I’m totally psyched! I’m going to meet her tomorrow for dinner and to help her run lines for this week’s tapings. It will be nice to be able to spend some time with her…I’ve known her since high school in Portland, and she’s one of the coolest chicks I know…Unbelievably gorgeous and talented, not to mention she has a killer sense of humor…We laugh until our bellies hurt…She’s that kind of friend…
Then today for some reason both Charlie and I got motivated, and we ended up spending hours moving around all the furniture and office stuff and completely changing our live/work space. It looks FANTASTIC in here! So now I’m just lounging contentedly with a glass of champagne and a satisfied smile. I might get around to shoutouts later, and I might just decide to go hang out in the chat room instead…
