Websites and WordPress and Widgets, Oh My!

Ok, so I’m working on www.TonyaJoneMiller.com right now…It’s in a larvae stage at the moment, but as you can see it does exist…Eventually, this will be a blog-based personal website with what I’m sure will be way too much information about me, as well as links to all of my favorite people and places online…I already figured out how to link you to my Netflix Friends, so if you’re a movie buff, let’s trade recommendations! Also, I think there is a plug-in I can download to make my posts here automatically re-post in LiveJournal, but I’m nowhere near that far along yet…And I haven’t even looked at My Space to see if I can synchronize it too…
I’ve never used WordPress or any other program like it, and for me it will just be a matter of banging my head against the wall (keyboard?) until I figure it out…I’m kind of psyched though…I want to be able to change and update my site at will, without having to wait for a webdesigner to do it for me…Mostly because I am so damn indecisive and change my mind a bunch of times on everything…This way I can putter around with stuff until I get it right without wasting anyone else’s time…At least until I am forced to plead for help from one of the aforementioned ridiculously busy webdesigners…Lol…
So basically, that’s what I’m going to be doing for the next few days, weeks, whatever…Oh yeah…And this afternoon I’m doing voiceovers for a commercial, so that’s kind of cool and hopefully will be the springboard to more voiceover work…Also, my audition yesterday for a local indie film went extremely well, but you just never know what they’re looking for, so we’ll see if I hear from them…So there you go, I’m just truckin’ along…Hope you’ve had a wonderful week…
