We found our fourth! Her name is Adrienna, and she so fits into our ensemble dynamic that it feels like she has always been with us. Plus she’s a writer and an amazingly empathic actress. She brings a nice physical contrast and brand new energy. Yay!

We’ve been working on the new Inviting Desire script for a week or so now. Obviously, since we are performing it with four instead of seven, it is going to be a completely different show. We are doing many of the pieces from the initial run, but we’ve changed up the order and incorporated some of Adrienna’s writing as well. There are a couple of brand new pieces, and the entire framework of the show has changed. Such a struggle to say what we want to say in an entertaining way without being pedantic and preachy. Oh yeah, and we have a blog for the show now (my deadpan response: “oh goody, now I have another blog to update”), so you can track our creative process, shows, and the upcoming tour.

But anyway…Now that the new version of the script is nearly complete, we start intensive rehearsals. I have 9 hour rehearsals today and tomorrow, and 4 hour rehearsals Sunday and Monday (which just happens to be my birthday). Sunday night, some friends are having their annual Memorial Day Weekend party and have kindly allowed me to co-op it as my birthday party. This was the first year in a while I felt like throwing myself a big shindig, but yay I don’t have to do all that work. Heh. Monday I’m having lunch with my Mom, then Howard and I will probably try to squeeze in a nice birthday dinner somewhere before I have to get to rehearsal.

Did I mention in the middle of all this I managed to contract a killer cold? (No, it’s not the swine flu, but everyone seems to think it’s funny to ask.) I don’t get sick very often, and when I do, it’s usually my body saying “hey! You need to take better care of me.” So I’m going to be kind of scarce for the next few weeks, at least at night. I cannot stay logged in overnight every night, because I really need good rest to stay sane and healthy during the rehearsal process. Look for me in the morning and during the day, if you’re hankering for some delightfully deviant phone sex, or contact me to make a date. I really appreciate you being patient and making the extra effort to get ahold of me when I’m busy like this.

And I’m talking flights, money, and logistics for the shoot now, so here goes…I’m going to be on HBO’s Real Sex! They found me through this blog and approached me about doing an episode. It still doesn’t seem real to me, but it’s actually going to happen! I don’t want to give too much away, but you can be sure my phone sex expertise will be put to good use. ~grins~

Yeah, I’ve got a wee bit much on my plate these days. Lol. But I am so very grateful…

Tonya

I just posted the best shots from my most recent photo shoot on my Gallery Page for your viewing pleasure…I was going to wait until they were airbrushed and all prettied up for the web, but you know what? Fuck that. This is who I am. This is what I look like. I’m not perfect. AND I LOVE MYSELF ANYWAY. But it took me a long time to get here…

In fact I’ve always had a fucked up relationship with food and struggled with body image/eating disorders for most of my life. During the depths of my marriage, I was so miserable I ate myself into oblivion trying to feed the emptiness inside me. Believe it or not, at one point I weighed 225 pounds! Obviously, I have since managed to find a reasonably healthy balance. And I keep getting parts that require me to be scantily (or not at all) dressed onstage, so I’ve basically had to face my fear head-on. Lol. I never was one to take the easy path…

But working in two industries (acting and adult entertainment) where the standards of youth and beauty are so ridiculously high, it’s easy to slip back into old patterns. I have to remind myself that a little cellulite doesn’t make me a horrible person…A couple of lines on my face show I spend more time laughing and smiling than following a “beauty regimen” or getting surgery or injecting botox…And if anyone sees something imperfect in my photos that keeps them from calling me…They are not the kind of person I want in my life. It’s that simple.

Now try being me, the consummate Gemini, and reconciling those views with my burning desire to have huge tits. LMFAO but oh so true. I’ve been thinking about a boob job lately, mostly out of curiosity. I really wonder what it would be like to have a nice big chest. God bless push-up bras, but it’s not the same thing. And before any of you natural lovers get in an uproar, it’s just a daydream right now…I seriously doubt I’d actually do it, and if I did it wouldn’t be a rash decision…

Total change of subject…Have I mentioned I got spoiled rotten for Christmas? Howard said, “oh let’s not get out of control this year. We’ll save money for our vacation.” (Which we are taking sometime this spring in Jamaica!) He then proceeded to get me the new LG Voyager touch screen cell phone with a Bluetooth headset! Also an electric blanket for my freezing-cold room, a plethora of stocking stuffer goodies, and a huge gift certificate to Fez Studio, which is the best place in Portland for perfume, make-up, and skincare. To top it all off, we spent Christmas night in excellent seats at the Rose Garden, watching my beloved Blazers whoop the Sonics’ asses for win number 11 in a row! I swear, that man knows how to do a holiday up something fierce. *smiles*

Now I get a couple of days with one of my dearest friends, Bonnie, who is up here from L.A. with her hubby. We have dinner planned tomorrow night at Biwa, which I thought she’d like since it’s in the old LaLuna building. She and I have sooooo many memories from that place…By the way, Bonnie is a really great actress who you might have seen recently as a recurring guest star on Cold Case…So keep your eye on her, because someday soon a brilliant Hollywood suit is going to cast her as the permanent lead in a successful tv show and you’ll be able to say you liked her BEFORE she was even really famous…Hehehe…

Enough for now…I hope you are enjoying this holiday season…

My list of movies to watch just keeps on growing…And I’ve hardly been idle, either…I pretty much have a movie going at least half of the time, even if I’m not really paying attention to it…Which happens a lot, since your average, neighborhood dvd rental place contains 95% crap…Maybe more…That could be a generous estimate…LOL…Of course, there are those unexpected gems that are all the more welcome for their rarity…

Cameo I Liked Recently: Mike Ditka as himself in “Kicking and Screaming”

Oscar Nominations You Won’t See But Should:
MALE: Real-life DJ Paul Kaye as fictional Ibiza party spinner Frankie Wilde in the hilarious mockumentary “It’s All Gone, Pete Tong”. Kaye gives a committed performance that goes from outrageously surreal to painfully real. As the effusive Wilde, who loses his hearing after years of being the life of a very loud party, Kaye deftly conveys the confusion, anger, and disbelief of a man who can’t quite comprehend what is happening to him. He manages to be convincing as both a spoiled rave diva and a flawed hero struggling to overcome his handicap. The stuffy fucktards at the Academy won’t have the cojones to nominate him, and I don’t even know if the movie and/or his performance is eligible, but when Morgan and the Toms get nods this year, much as I love them, I will be fuming that Kaye has been left out in the cold…Or out of the gold, as the case may be…
FEMALE: The quietly luminous Kristen Stewart as traumatized teen Melinda Sordino in “Speak”. I haven’t been moved by an actress like this since Maggie Gyllenhall in “Secretary”, which if you know me, is saying a lot. Stewart is amazingly communicative with her face and body, which comes in handy, as her character is a selective mute. The story itself is not necessarily original, but the film transcends the many teen movie traps that ruin its peers, mostly due to Stewart’s heart-wrenching portrayal. And the girl was only 14 years old when she made this flick! That alone is probably enough to eliminate her from consideration, although if there is any kind of God anywhere, I invoke the Anna Paquin prayer. Lol! But seriously…I DARE you to watch this movie without crying…And the best thing is, you won’t even feel guilty, because unlike most Hollywood tearjerkers, “Speak” actually earns the tears.

Shameless Use Of Terminally-Ill Child: “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” (I totally bawled, I admit it…But unlike “Speak”, I felt dirty afterward…Lol…)

Tragic Typecasting: Hey, I love Morgan Freeman as much as the next guy (or gal), but for Pete’s sake somebody write him a new role already. I mean, you could patent The Morgan Freeman Role…You know…The older, wiser teacher/coach who leads his determined, headstrong young Quixote to victory…Usually a “triumph of spirit”…Just once I want to see him cussing out a nun while smoking a blunt…Hehehe…

Ok, that’s enough of my opinions, even for me…ROTF…Here’s to a fucktastic Friday!

Love,
Donna

Yes, I decided to extend my trip through tomorrow- just too many things to do and people to see here…Arrived from Erin’s on Wednesday afternoon, and met Bonnie at the loft. Her place is INCREDIBLE- way more New York than Los Angeles in my opinion, which is probably why I like it so much. Lol. We had dinner (steamed seafood dumplings, shredded chile-lemongrass pork, and sauteed black mushrooms with whole garlic cloves in black bean sauce…YUM!) at this fantastic Chinese restaurant Wednesday night, went back to her place, drank some wine, and got caught up. I have known Bonnie since I was 16…She is just one of those awesome friends you can go a year or two without seeing or even talking to, and then when you get together, it’s like you’ve never been apart. Plus, she is a working actress and has been a great source of information for me. After talking with her and a few other actor friends of mine here, I am more sure than ever that this is not the right place for me. I just can’t do it. I can’t do the endless auditions for crappy tv shows and shampoo commercials. I can’t play this bullshit game. It’s not me. Ok, truth be told, I CAN do it, I just WON’T. I refuse to. I can see now it would make me miserable, and I have spent enough time doing jobs that leave me feeling soulless. Thankfully, because of Bay City Blues, I am not in a financial position where I HAVE to pursue the icky acting work to pay the bills. I can focus on theater (which pays peanuts, if at all) and not have to sell my soul to the corporate world to make ends meet. So, even though I have TONS of wonderful friends here, Los Angeles is out. I am pretty sure I will end up in Chicago or New York now, but I am going to visit both places before I make up my mind…

Oh the funniest thing happened yesterday morning…It was about 8am, and I was fast asleep when I heard a knocking at the bedroom door. I had locked it the night before, just so no one accidentally walked in on me during a call. Figuring it was Bonnie needing to talk to me before she left for work, I bounded out of bed and opened the door- mind you, I was wearing only a skimpy thong…Well, a very handsome Los Angeles firefighter got quite an eyeful!!! Turns out the sprinkler system on the roof of her building was triggered, and they were checking for leaks in the lofts…Mmmmm…I could have shown him some wetness alright…*wink*…

I want to thank everyone who called me (and the girls!) this week! I have had some INCREDIBLY HOT CALLS!!! My sweet dyke subbie followed directions perfectly and called me so I could put her new collar and nipple clamps on…You are such a delightful pet! And thank you for the 15 MINUTE TIP!!! My public defender let me tease him until he couldn’t take it anymore and fucked me HARD until we both exploded- always so good to hear your voice, babe…Got to be a nasty wife who took my neighbor’s cock in all my holes…Had a long-overdue call with my travelling lawyer who teased me mercilessly with my dildo before sliding his hot cock deep inside me….Mmmmm I’m so glad we finally got to cum together again! *wink* My enslaved HYPNO ROBOT continues to please me with his obedience…I love watching you slip deeper and deeper! Had a VERY SEXY orgy with Texas Josie and Sweet Georgia and my favorite footrest…You naughty, naughty man! Oh GOD my Chicago writer just makes me INSANE with lust…Thank you darling, for the slippery wake-up call that left me once again spent yet still aching for you…Was a tender yet firm mommy for my crossdressing son who just loves it when I fuck his tight little ass! Have had THREE calls with my shameless slut Christina who listened in while I called her secretary at work and then put a giant strap-on on hold for her under her REAL NAME at a porn store…Mmmm better hope the wife doesn’t frequent the establishment…Hehehe…Had a WHOLE HOUR over two calls with a sexy Staten Island man who is adorably sweet and knows how to use his tongue…Mmmmm can’t wait to drown you again…*wink*…Had a blast with a kinky BRAND NEW CALLER who can’t help shooting his load when I say “CUNT”…The nastiest ass slut ever took a whole HORSE COCK right up his heinie and fisted my ass at the same time…Your ass makes such a great funnel…LMFAO…And last but certainly not least, my esteemed Colorado genius continues to stimulate both my intellect and my sex drive…NINETY WHOLE MINUTES with you passes so quickly, and I simply MELT when you call me your Dirty Girl…*SMILES*…Who is the luckiest woman on Earth? I’m ready to wrestle for the title, because you all make me feel like I’ve won the lottery…

I’ll be home tomorrow…Looking forward to it, but not to the icy reception I am sure to receive from my persnickety felines…If they even remember me at all…LOL…

Love,
